ABUSED?

LOCKED WITHIN

Locked within closed doors
Suffering sublime
Hidden from the Spirit
Deep within divine.

All alone in silence
No one knows your name
Surrounded by the darkness
Satan plays his game.

When out from amidst this torment
The stillness of His voice
Piercing through my heart like thunder
Shattering my remorse.

The voice is of Jesus, my Savior
Sent to remind me of the pain
That HE endured on the cross
He took away my sorrow and shame.

THE WAR'S ALREADY BEEN WON!

Though the battle rages on
The war's already been won.
The healing of the gaping wounds
Has been purchased by God's Son.

He cradles you in His loving arms,
And wraps you under His wings.
He carries you through the storm
And to shelter you - He does bring.

The healing balm of Gilead
He pours into your open heart
And fills you with His Spirit
And gives you a brand new start!

Jesus, My Suffering Savior

Out of the depths of the sorrow
The depths of the pain
From the wound that has not been mended
From the wound and hurt offended.

Touch me with Thy healing power
Touch me with Thy comfort near
From the only One who can feel it
From the One who knows me dear.

Jesus, is my Suffering Savior
On who I do rely
To take away all pain and sorrow
To the cross at Calvary, I shall cry.

Will Your Word Work Now?

Will your Word work now?
When you don't know what to do
When the one you love is going through
A trial that is so cruel?

Will your Word work now?
Amidst the suffering and the pain
The reproach that never seems to change
That constantly brings me shame.

Will your Word work now?
I know that it is and it shall
And it will always prevail
And to others, I will go and tell.

That your Word is working now
That it is bringing forth the fruit
From the planting deep within
It is freeing you from sin!

The Broken Curse

Insane? I was.
Not of sound mind? I was.
But today I am awake and of a good behavior.
I love life and I am happy to be alive.

He is there, like a roaring lion, walking about
and looking for me to destroy me.
But I will resist him.
I will have a firm stance.
He has become weak as I was.

You, son of the morning, are cut down!
You, who did weaken a generation, is brought low;
even to the pit.
I will look upon you and say-
Is this what made the earth to tremble
and the cities to shake?
That tried to make the world a wilderness
and our young desolate?

You are weak!
You are nothing!
The curse has been broken and I am
SET FREE!

A friend sent me this email. Hope it ministers to you as it did me.

Why Women Cry...

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him. "I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?" "All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said: "When I made woman she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in Her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
